The master of science in Mechanical Engineering provides students with advanced theoretical knowledge and hands-on technical experience in the areas of energy, mechanical, thermal and fluid systems; and materials, manufacturing and product development. Students may choose an area of focus that enhances knowledge in their current field or allows them to explore a new specialty.

Graduate Assistant Positons
A limited number of graduate assistant positons may be available for full-time students. Assistantships provide a unique opportunity in which students work in an academic department while pursuing a master鈥檚 degree. Compensation varies by position, but can include tuition assistance and/or room and board.
