On-Campus SIM Days
Science in Motion offers a unique opportunity for your students to experience hands-on learning in a college-grade laboratory at 正澳门六合彩开奖直播. Here, they can engage in exciting experiments using advanced equipment and techniques typically found in higher education settings. This immersive experience not only enhances their understanding of scientific concepts but also gives them a glimpse into the world of collegiate research. It鈥檚 a fantastic way for students to ignite their passion for science while developing critical skills in a professional environment!
In the 2023-2024 school year, SIM hosted students from Lakeland High School for a case of forensics where they performed DNA Fingerprinting. SIM also hosted students from Wyoming Seminary Secondary for a STEM Day extravaganza involving biology, chemistry, and pharmacy experiments lead by the SIM Team and professors and students from the pharmacy department here at Wilkes.
STEM Nights
At the STEM Nights that Science in Motion has participated in, students and their families gather for an exciting evening filled with hands-on learning and exploration. Students dive into a variety of interactive STEM activities that spark their curiosity and creativity.
Through Science in Motion's involvement at your next STEM Night, students can get the chance to practice coding with our mBot robots, bringing them to life with their own programming, or create unique gene keychains that illustrate concepts in genetics. One of the highlights for these events is the portable StarLab Planetarium, where families can enjoy a mesmerizing night under the stars, exploring the wonders of the universe. These engaging experiences foster a love for science, technology, engineering, and math, all while encouraging families to bond and learn together!

Science Fairs
Science in Motion offers top-notch laboratory equipment to enhance your students' science fair projects, whether for school-hosted events or prestigious competitions like the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS). With access to high-quality tools and resources, students can elevate their experiments and presentations, making them stand out in a competitive environment. This support not only enriches their learning experience but also empowers them to explore their scientific interests with confidence and creativity. StarLab Portable Planetarium Events
Experience the wonders of the universe with Science in Motion's StarLab Portable Planetarium! Students can enjoy an immersive stargazing adventure while learning about astronomy, exploring celestial phenomena and constellations up close. For geology classes, the StarLab offers a unique opportunity to journey to Earth鈥檚 core, providing an engaging way to understand the planet鈥檚 layers and structure. With a capacity to accommodate up to 50 students at a time, this interactive experience is perfect for school-wide events, encouraging curiosity and collaboration as students dive into the fascinating realms of astronomy and geology together.
