Christopher Henkels was raised in New York and received the AB from Colgate University in 1993 and the M.S. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology from Cornell University in 1997. In 2005, Henkels was awarded a PhD from the Duke University Department of Biochemistry for his work on the biophysical characterization of ribonuclease P protein, an intrinsically disordered protein. Henkels has carried out post-doctoral research on a class of nucleosome-targeting proteins in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Virginia. Most recently, Henkels was a visiting professor in the Department of Chemistry at Franklin & Marshall and Swarthmore Colleges, where he has begun undergraduate-driven research on protein structure, dynamics and ligand binding via unnatural amino acid incorporation. At 正澳门六合彩开奖直播, Henkels will be teaching general chemistry and biochemistry lecture and laboratory courses, as well as continuing his research program.
