The Department of Facilities is comprised of two main areas:
Office of Campus Support Services
The Service Center is responsible for the physical campus – its academic, research and administrative spaces, the infrastructure that supports the buildings, and the landscape that surrounds them. This consists of three areas:
- Repair & Maintenance
- Grounds & Landscaping
- Mechanical Systems
Capital Projects & Planning
Capital Projects & Planning is responsible for implementing key concepts and elements in the University's twenty-year Campus Master Plan. In addition, the department has responsibility to oversee the preventative maintenance and capital assets programs for all interior and exterior building systems (e.g. mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roof, window, etc.)
